I could only listened to about 5 minutes of this alt-right victory rant. I feel very sorry for anyone who wants this kind of America. I admit that I contributed to some of the vitriol, but I've had time to think about the results of this election. We need to come together on issues. The Democratic Party spent too much time on defense and did not connect with the average American voters. The election is over. Now comes the long, hard job of repairing the damage.
You've mischaracterized this video.
Alt-Right victory rant. Listen to you, Anonymous. It wasn't a rant; it was a dramatically effective, sarcastic laden shiv in the ribs of the progressive, vitriolic histrionic un-reality bubble.I'm glad that you took a moment to reflect, but by commenting while not listening to the video (which gets really interesting after five minutes), you are, as War Dancing Pixie pointed out in her very title, a coward.Clinton lost because she was a Clinton, because she was a terrible candidate, because she antagonized the voters she needed and because Trump gave out a positive message while she came across as a mentally damaged shrill harpy. Not because the DNC spent too much time on defense. There will not be a coming together on issues. The damage will get worse, not better. But you can't see that, either, just as you probably didn't see that Clinton was going to get curb-stomped in election.
Yes this is your former friend. This is my last comment to this or any other blog of yours. After knowing you over 8 years I am well aware of your policy on deleting people from your life when they disagree with you. I won't waste my time trying to get you to see my opinion (and that of over 61 million voters). But please tell me how I mischaracterized that video? No matter what you reply, I promise I will not respond. You, as always, have the last word.
I feel sad
You and me both, Roberto, you and me both.
